Moving to Ridgewood New Jersey

Downtown Ridgewood New Jersey is a welcome sight for any New Yorker who's grown used to a wide selection of choices in both dining and shopping. From chains to local establishment, the thriving main thoroughfare in Ridgewood has everything you can imagine.

Choice and opportunity are two of the reasons one might choose to move from New York City to New Jersey - and they're exactly why Ridgewood is a great transition from "city" to "suburban" life.

The center of Ridgewood is more than geography - its also about the outstanding school system (seven elementary, two middle and one high school), fine local community hospital and many houses of worship.

Ridgewood has been called "the commuter's secret" - whether you work in Manhattan or just feel the urge for a day trip, the ride between Ridgewood and New York is a breeze. From the train station in the center of town to Hoboken is a quick thirty five minute ride and then there's a choice of trains and buses into New York City. If you'd rather bus it, a wide selection of buses - including an express to Port Authority - stop at various points around town. Super convenient!
